Marqués de Monistrol Winemakers Select Cava Brut

We have added a very nice cava, Marqués de Monistrol Winemakers Select Cava Brut from Spain, on to our wine list.

Marqués de Monistrol is one of the world’s leading cava brands and a pioneer in rose cava. Since 1882 Marques de Monistrol has produced cava according to the traditional method at the property based in the heart of the cava region San Sadurni d’Anoia, situated south west from Barcelona.

Grape varieties used for Marqués de Monistrol Winemakers Select Cava Brut 12 % :Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada & Chardonnay

Production method: Made using the traditional Champagne method, this wine is made from a selection of our best grapes. Second fermentation in bottle and the wine is kept on its lees for 15 months.

Tasting note:Bright straw colour, fresh aromas of herbs and apples and full and long on the finish with a fine mousse.
