Rafael's Reds beat United, can't get past Fulham
I was wrong, I admit it. Liverpool came out the more confident team against ManU last Sunday and took a well-deserved three points from a United team that could neither defend or attack. Rio Ferdinand was brushed aside too easily by Fernando Torres to score the winner, leaving Sir Alex to criticize the referee’s decisions (once again…) We are all, of course, anxiously waiting for the FA to tell what is the verdict on the improper conduct charge raised against Fergie. I would be surprised to see him sit out more than two games.
Yesterday Liverpool went back to their old way, losing 3-1 against Fulham at Craven Cottage in a match that saw two Liverpool players receive a red card. Rafa Benitez was left to explain why he substituted Torres at 62 minutes When at the same time United, Arsenal and Chelsea thumped 9 goals into their opponents’ nets while conceding none, Liverpool fans must be feeling a bit stressed about their team’s ventures this season.
Today’s game between Birmingham and Manchester City kicks off at 5:55 PM, come see it at the O’C‘S Big Screen!
