O’Connell’s Irish Bar
O’Connell’s will be closed for Christmas on Monday 23rd, Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th of December.
On Thursday 26th, December we will open our doors at 16:00 and kitchen will be open too with our regular menu!
Hot Heros will be playing live at 21:00 on Thursday 26th!
Last Call will be at 01:30 and we close the doors at 02:00.
For New Year’s we are open as usual!
The chef is planning a multitude of weekend specials from the kitchen.
So make sure to check out what the snack specials of the day are when you’re at the bar!
All of this in addition to our awesome new menu.
O’Connell’s launched the new menu on October 2nd!
The new menu for Autumn and Winter has been very well received with especially great reviews for the Pub Salad and the assortment of affordable snack style items!
There’s also some sharing dishes with Camembert of Artisanal meats that are great to start the meal with or to enjoy with some wine or beer.
Some of you will be especially glad to hear that the pies are back with Guinness Beef Pie and Guinness Vegan Pie. The classic basket of Fish & Chips remains, now with a Guinness batter and some minty peas on the side. There’s also a vegan version of that!
There’s also new Sloppy Joes and new Sandwiches to try out.
All the mayos and batters are done in O’C’s and so is most of the other things too as we are trying not to use any ready-made frozen products!

You can now buy gift vouchers to O’C’s at the bar!
A Gift voucher for O’Connell’s products is a great way to support the bar and make someone special very happy!
You can buy them also for yourself to use later or as a gift for a friend.
The library room is available for reservations free of charge, if you want to hold a small meeting or party in a more secluded area. All you need to do is discuss about the reservation and /or other details in advance with the staff. There is also the possibility to pre-order food or a buffet style menu. Food related details should be discussed with our chef.
We cannot insure the availability of the premises on short notice, so make sure to reserve the space you want early enough.
For bigger events the whole of upstairs can be reserved (for a fee) or maybe even the whole bar!

Monroe’s last movie quiz of the year takes a fantastic turn as we contemplate all things fantasy today at 7pm at O’Connell’s.
Swords and magic, elves and fairies abound in the bleak midwinter. No trips to the North Pole in this quiz, but we recommend you explore Narnia, the Middle Earth, Valhalla and Oz in preparation.
The quiz will be bilingual in Finnish and English, and the best teams will be rewarded!
